What Does It Do?
*The guide helps students learn to use an ergonomic approach to improve left-to-right tracking for reading and writing. It positions the paper high on the desk to help pupils learn to use the writing hand, wrist and arm properly for lateral movement and maximum control.
*The guide presents alphabet characters in writing position rather than reading position. This perceptual reinforcement, learning to read the letters in writing position, makes it easier for pupils to learn, accept and use the position skills needed for fluency. It also reinforces perception for self-evaluation.
*The guide makes it easy for teachers to spot and coach those students who need help with position skills. It is a simple, constant reminder for everyone to corelate the most important ergonomic objectives into all applied activities.
*As students learn to use the position skills established by the guide, they begin to use the correct muscles for the movements. This means there is better opportunity to integrate the most efficient muscle patterns.
